CP Seeks TCRC Comments Regarding Shorter Rail Labor Hours by Jan. 7

Canadian Pacific (CP) has asked the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference (TCRC) to review and comment by Jan. 7 on new shorter rail worker work-day rules the railroad will be proposing to Transport Canada (TC). CP said it will be seeking changes by TC that would reduce by a third the maximum permissible hours that its Canadian-based running trades employees can spend at the controls of a train.
