Petroleum Rail Traffic Continued Lower, Nicking Total Traffic in Nov. 12 Week: AAR

North American petroleum and petroleum product rail traffic continued on its course lower in the latest week, down over 15% as compared to the same week a year ago, still plagued by a glut of product in the crude oil sector. This played into a marginally negative tone in total U.S. weekly rail traffic, which was 541,127 carloads and intermodal units, down 0.5 percent compared with the same week last year.
