AltaGas: RIPET Construction is on-time, on budget; 75% of Terminal’s Supply has been Secured

AltaGas Ltd. said today that construction of its Ridley Island Propane Export Terminal (RIPET) is “progressing on-time and on-budget and is slated to come online in the first quarter of 2019.”

In its quarterly earnings release the Canadian midstream firm added that supply for approximately 75% of the terminal’s total capacity has been secured, with the balance on schedule for start-up. AltaGas is looking to open the 40,000 b/d propane export facility on Ridley Island, which is adjacent to Prince Rupert, British Columbia.
