Western Canada Still Working on Getting Energy to Market -- Themes as to how that could happen

Here are a few themes that are being discussed in western Canada’s energy industry.

LPG

Will Western Canada run out of propane. Industry sources suggest that if all the projects on the drawing board were to be completed the region would consume more propane than is available in known production. Will propane have to be imported to keep these projects working?

Some of the projects announced include: two export terminals in Prince Rupert -- AltaGas and Pembina. Three propane dehydrogenation plants in Alberta - Pembina, Inter Pipeline and Williams.
