CP Rail Reaches Tentative Agreement with Rail Workers -- Strike Ends

UPDATE: CP Rail is inviting train crew employees to return to work at 9 pm on Wednesday, May 30, if they are rested. "All employees are expected to be back to regular work schedules by 06:00 local time tomorrow, May 31, 2018," a CP Rail statement released this afternoon said.

And now the strike is over.

CP Rail said it reached agreement with the final group of striking workers -- conductors and locomotive engineers, today.

In a company announcement, the railroad said it reached a tentative four-year agreement with conductors and locomotive engineers and a five-year agreement with KVR conductors and locomotive engineers, ending both strikes.
