Crestwood Requests NYDEC Delay Final Decision for Seneca County LPG Storage Cavern Application

Finger Lakes LPG Storage, LLC has asked the New York Department of Environmental Conservation (NYDEC) to delay a final decision on an application to operate a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) storage facility at its Seneca County salt mines until pressure tests are completed to determine if there is leakage between underground storage wells. Finger Lakes LPG Storage is a unit of Crestwood Midstream Partners LP.

Kevin Bernstein, an attorney with Bond Schoeneck & King, sent a letter on May 17 to the NYDEC making the request on behalf of Finger Lakes LPG Storage. Energy Transport Insider obtained a copy of the letter from the NYDEC.
