Union Vote on CP Rail Labor Pact Delayed

The Canada Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) on Wednesday pushed out the end date for two unions to vote on a final labor agreement proposal from Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd. (CP).

Voting by the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference – Train & Engine (TCRC) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) will now begin on May 18 at 9 a.m. Eastern and close May 25 at noon Eastern. That moves the end date to two days later from the previous end date for the vote.
