Propane/Propylene Stocks Fall Below 103 Million Bbl on Boost in Demand, Production Slip

US propane/propylene stocks fell to 102.7 million bbl in the week ending Oct. 14, the Department of Energy said Wednesday. A blip up in demand and a dip in production appeared to account for the inventory decline.

While October is the first month of the winter heating season, it is common to still see stocks rise through the month. Typically, if the US sees a significant stock draw it could be related to an early onset of winter or demand from the farming community for crop drying.
