Even though propane prices are on the rise this year, there remain bargains.
It’s that time again, when liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) marketers negotiate supply contracts for the coming year, which runs from April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019. As in all markets, industry participants who can find the opportunity amid existing conditions stand to benefit.
“Sometimes we get lucky, often times we don’t,” said the CEO of one broker firm when asked about current conditions for moving and storage of propane.
