Canadian Pacific (CP) told customers today that it expects trains to be delayed up to 72-hours this week as the railroad recovers following severe winter weather in recent weeks.
A customer service notice sent out late last night predicts the railroad to be running on time next week as temperatures moderate. The railroad has struggled to keep trains running on time this winter. Not only has winter weather disrupted operations, the railroad has seen congestion build due to an increase in freight traffic.
