Rail equipment suppliers filed an objection this week to railroad reciprocal switching rules under consideration by the Surface Transportation Board.
They are the latest group to file comments to the regulatory body. The Surface Transportation Board is accepting public comment through Oct. 25, on rules to allow railroad reciprocal switching rules. The rule was originally announced on July 27.
