CG Railway Operations to Continue as Usual, Despite Takeover

Operations at terminal railroad CG Railway continue unchanged, according to a company spokesman. Court filings and information published by the company show a plan for CG Railway’s parent company International Shipholding Corp. (ISH) to emerge from bankruptcy under the new ownership of SEACOR Ocean Transport Inc. as of the second quarter. In response to a question whether CG Railway expects any change in activities in the coming year as a result of the takeover and reorganization, George Nahas, vice president of sales and marketing for CG Railway responded “absolutely none.” Nahas added it’s “business as usual for CGR.”...
