President Donald Trump today signed executive orders to expedite the construction of energy infrastructure projects such as the Keystone XL and Dakota Access pipelines. Both are designed to carry crude oil.
The Keystone XL is an 1,100-mile crude oil pipeline that will carry product from Alberta, Canada to refineries in the U.S.
The Dakota Access Pipeline is an 1,100-mile crude oil pipeline designed to carry 500,000 b/d of crude oil from the Bakken and Three Forks oil production areas in North Dakota to U.S. oil markets.
